As a child I would lie awake at night listening to the call of tawny owls, these birds intrigued me even then and have always been so.

I lived on the edge of a large forest and went exploring there. Not surprisingly, I became fascinated by birds of prey and owls at a young age. When I was 10, I made my first tawny owl box, which was provisional
made from leftover material. Now, 50 years later, I am still fascinated by nature and I still make nest boxes. Not just for owls but also for
all kinds of other birds and mammals.

I still get excited about sustainable and
handmade nest boxes, a beautiful breeding result and a happy customer.
